Chief (sole) accountant for manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Full accounting, management and tax accounting for a manufacturing legal entity (LLC).
• Accounting for production operations: product cost, raw materials and supplies, work in progress, finished goods.
• Payroll for production personnel.
• Preparation and filing of financial and tax reporting.
• Liaison with tax authorities, handling inspections.
• Control of source documents from production and warehouse units.
• Liaison with the accounting teams of other group entities on reconciliations and consolidation as needed.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a chief accountant.
• Experience in a manufacturing company is required.
• Confident command of production accounting: cost calculation, materials accounting, finished goods.
• Knowledge of Ukrainian tax and accounting legislation.
• Experience running the function end to end — with no accounting staff reporting to you.
• Responsibility, autonomy, readiness to take personal ownership of the entire area.

Terms

• Full-time, on-site in Odesa.
