General information

The PSN-1100 auxiliary services panel is a multi-input, low-voltage 0.4 kV panel that receives power from several independent sources (two or more incomers from auxiliary-service transformers, plus, where required, a standby generator and a storage battery as an emergency source) and distributes it among the auxiliary-service circuits of a power plant or substation. A built-in ATS (automatic transfer switch) device monitors the state of the sources and automatically switches the load to the priority healthy source, ensuring uninterrupted power supply to control, signalling, lighting, cabinet and drive heating, ventilation, and battery charging/trickle-charging circuits.

The panel is manufactured to the customer's project: the layout, number and ratings of incomers and outgoing lines, rated currents of the busbars, ATS logic and apparatus set are selected to match the single-line diagram of the specific facility. The typical design of the PSN-1100/1200 series covers incoming, sectionalising and distribution (outgoing) panels — the specific design is determined by the technical specification. Typical example: two working incomers + a sectionalising link with ATS and a group of outgoing lines for lighting, heating and battery chargers. Structurally — a frame-type panel with two-sided access; switching and protection apparatus inside, instruments and control elements on the front door.

The panels are used to equip auxiliary-services switchboards at power plants, substations and power facilities. Description and purpose

The PSN-1100 is an auxiliary power panel rated up to 0.4 kV, designed for auxiliary-power switchboards at power plants and substations. Unlike a simple single-feeder panel, the PSN-1100 can accept several power sources — main, backup, and one from a battery — and, through a built-in ATS (automatic transfer switch), automatically selects the priority source, maintaining uninterrupted power to control circuits, relay protection and emergency lighting. FAQ

Is this a DC or AC panel?
The PSN-1100 is an auxiliary power panel for an auxiliary-power switchboard, not a single-feeder DC panel. It accepts power from several independent inputs and can include a section fed from a battery. The specific type of current per section and the ratings are determined by the project/technical specification.
How many power sources does the panel support?
Several. The typical configuration is a main input, a backup input and an input from the battery as an emergency source. The built-in ATS (automatic transfer switch) monitors voltage presence and automatically switches to the priority healthy source, so the auxiliary-power supply is not interrupted.
What are the rated currents and dimensions?
The design is project-specific. The rated currents of the busbars, the number and type of inputs, busbar cross-section and enclosure dimensions are selected to match your single-line diagram. The enclosure is frame-type with two-sided access; exact values are determined by the technical specification.
Is this SF6 (gas-insulated) equipment?
No. LK Energy Group does not manufacture SF6 (gas-insulated) equipment. The auxiliary power panel is a low-voltage 0.4 kV solution built on air circuit breakers and molded-case circuit breakers with air insulation.
