Grid-Tied Solar Power Plant with a Capacity of 30 kW

General information
Grid-tied solar power plant, 30 kW
A grid-tied 30 kW solar power plant for large private houses, agribusiness and small enterprises. It operates in parallel with the grid: during the day it covers part of your own consumption, and the surplus is exported to the grid under the self-production (net-billing) mechanism — under a sale and purchase agreement, an annex to your supply contract. There are no batteries in this configuration: if the grid goes down, the plant stops. If you need power during outages, that is a hybrid layout with batteries or BESS, which we cost separately. We also offer a choice of inverter configurations and equipment from leading brands such as Deye, Solis, FOX, Huawei, Fronius, Solax, Victron, Must, SolarEdge, Growatt, Kaco, Axioma, and solar panels Longi, JaSolar, Jinko, Axioma, Tongwei, TrinaSolar, Canadian, DAH, Risen, which makes it possible to tailor the system to the customer's specific needs.Key advantages:
- Savings on your bill
- The plant covers part of your daytime consumption — for that share you do not buy electricity from the grid at the commercial tariff. The share depends on your load profile and is calculated from your metering data.
- Surplus to the grid
- Any surplus generation can be exported to the grid as an active consumer, with the value compensated under net-billing (not a guaranteed income).
- What the site needs
- Free roof or ground area, a metering point and the operator's technical conditions for connection. The connection layout and the switchgear scope are calculated from your single-line diagram.
- Payback
- The payback period depends on tariffs, consumption volume and the plant configuration; we provide an indicative calculation individually, based on your single-line diagram.
Indicative market price
The average cost of similar solutions on the Ukrainian market is from $13,000 depending on:- The configuration selected
- The inverter brand (Deye, Solis, FOX, Huawei, Fronius, Solax, Victron, Must, SolarEdge, Growatt, Kaco, Axioma)
- Any additional equipment, such as monitoring, protection and automation systems.
Annual savings
Savings are calculated individually, depending on the region, tariffs and consumption profile.Service life
The service life of the modules is as specified by the manufacturer (brand-dependent); the inverter life is per the manufacturer’s warranty.Technical specifications:
| Plant capacity: | 30 kW |
| Type of offer: | Complete set |
| System type: | Grid-tied |
| Inverter: | A string inverter: it converts the energy from the modules and synchronises it with the grid — to supply your own loads and export the surplus. |
| Battery: | Not included — the plant is grid-tied, the surplus is fed into the grid. |
| Backup power (UPS): | No — a grid-tied plant without batteries does not operate when the grid is down. |
Timeline and payback
Timeline: feasibility study — within one day · full quote — within 3 working days of receiving all input data.
We calculate payback and savings from your own consumption profile — that is the only way to get an honest figure. Send us an electricity bill and we will show the calculation for your specific site.

Questions & answers
FAQ
What are the main benefits of building a solar power plant for your own consumption?
Building a plant for your own consumption reduces electricity costs, while any surplus can be exported to the grid under net-billing (compensation of value, not guaranteed income).
How do you choose the right capacity for a solar power plant?
To purchase the right system, you first need to determine the total power consumption of the specific facility. Based on this data, the solar power plant is designed to deliver maximum output during the sunny season as well as in winter.
How long does the construction process take?
Timelines depend on the size and complexity of the project. On average, however, building a solar power plant takes anywhere from a few weeks to a few months.
Why should a solar power plant be built by a contractor with its own production facilities and 0.4–35 kV authorizations?
Not only functionality but also safety depends on correct installation and equipment quality. That's why it's important to choose a proven company. LK Energy is an example of such a contractor. Our team consists of experienced specialists who can guarantee quality service.
