General information

RUNN-E (РУНН-Е) is a complete low-voltage switchgear of LK Energy Group's own production (manufacturer of switchgear equipment, Odesa; company since 2005, own factory since 2015). It is designed for receiving and distributing three-phase AC electricity with a frequency of 50 Hz and a voltage of 0.4 kV in networks with a solidly grounded or isolated neutral (TN-C, TN-S, IT), for protecting connections against short-circuit currents and overloads, as well as for control, signaling, and measurement.

RUNN-E is used as distribution boards, power distribution points, control and automation boards and cabinets, as well as the low-voltage side (0.4 kV) switchgear of complete transformer substations. The cabinets have air insulation — without the use of SF6 gas; the circuits use air circuit breakers (ACB) and molded case circuit breakers (MCCB) (type — project-specific).

The product is manufactured for a specific project: the circuit, composition of cabinets (input, metering, section breaker/disconnector, outgoing lines, ATS (АВР), reactive power compensation), device ratings, rated and withstand short-circuit currents, busbar cross-section and material, enclosure degree of protection, and dimensions are determined by the customer's specification (inquiry sheet / TS).

RUNN-E is manufactured according to TU U 27.1-40132794-003:2016 and complies with the regulatory documents: DSTU EN IEC 61439-1:2022; DSTU EN IEC 61439-2:2022; DSTU EN 60529:2018; GOST 15150-69.

The design ensures convenient routing and connection of supply cables during installation, and during operation — the ability to work on an individual feeder without disconnecting the entire section. The busbar material and cross-section, and the method of busbar connection, are determined by the project.

Description and Purpose

RUNN-E cabinets are a low-voltage complete switchgear unit for 0.4 kV rated at 50 Hz three-phase current, used for receiving and distributing electric power, protection against short circuits and overloads, control, signaling and metering. They are used as main distribution boards (MDBs), power distribution points, ATS (automatic transfer switch) and capacitor bank cabinets, as well as the 0.4 kV low-voltage switchgear side of complete transformer substations (KTP/BKTP — package/block-type transformer substations). Climatic design U3, operating range −45…+40 °C. LK Energy Group is a manufacturer of switchgear equipment from Odesa (company since 2005, own factory since 2015): the cabinets are built at our own production facility per TU U 27.1-40132794-003:2016 (Ukrainian technical specifications), with ratings and layout configured to the customer's project or technical requirements.

What is RUNN and where is it installed?
RUNN (low-voltage switchgear) is a set of 0.4 kV cabinets for receiving electric power from a power transformer and distributing it among consumers. RUNN is most often installed inside transformer substations (KTP, BKTP — package/block-type transformer substations), as well as in the main electrical switchrooms of industrial facilities and business centers as the main distribution board (MDB).
What ratings and configurations are available?
Rated voltage is 0.4 kV. The rated currents of the RUNN unit and busbars, outgoing feeder currents, short-circuit currents and enclosure protection rating (IP) are determined according to the customer's project or technical requirements. Climatic design U3, operating range −45…+40 °C. The specific circuit diagram and cabinet layout (incoming, outgoing, bus coupler, ATS, capacitor bank cabinets, etc.) are selected to match the project.
How does RUNN differ from ShchO-70 panels?
ShchO-70 panels are an outdated standard of open-type distribution boards. RUNN cabinets are fully enclosed structures, which is safer for personnel, have a smaller footprint, and allow more complex control and automation schemes to be implemented.
Can RUNN be used for retrofitting old substations?
Yes, this is common practice (retrofit). We manufacture a RUNN lineup sized to fit in place of old panels, equipped with modern air circuit breakers (ACB) and molded-case circuit breakers (MCCB) — this improves power supply reliability without a major overhaul of the premises.
Who is the manufacturer and how much does it cost?
The manufacturer is LK Energy Group, Odesa, on the market since 2005, with its own switchgear factory since 2015. Manufactured per TU U 27.1-40132794-003:2016 (Ukrainian technical specifications). There is no fixed price list: the cost depends on the number of cabinets, ratings, devices and circuit configuration — we calculate it based on your technical requirements or single-line diagram.
