КРП-4000/0.4 У1 — 4000 A packaged distribution substation in a containerized block

The task

A 2026 client needed a main 0.4 kV distribution unit for an industrial site — rated at 4000 A, distributing across fourteen outgoing feeders plus auxiliary supply. With two requirements on top of the electrical design:

• outdoor placement — the unit had to arrive as a finished module, not be assembled on site;
• stable internal climate — 0.4 kV equipment at full current generates heat that has to be removed year-round.

The solution

We built it not as "cabinets separately, container separately" but as a single turnkey product: the КРП-4000/0.4 У1 packaged substation made up of fourteen ШС power cabinets and one ЩСН auxiliary-supply cabinet (we also manufacture ATS cabinets for input redundancy), installed inside an insulated outdoor containerized block.

• Frame and enclosure — in-house production: from painted profiles to the finished block with a gable roof and a checkered anti-slip floor.
• Busbars and busbar system — sized to the design current, with phase marking.
• Switchgear — withdrawable air circuit breakers, network analyzers, current transformers.
• Climate — forced cooling on two circuits at once: supply-and-exhaust ventilation (axial fans + louvers) and air conditioning (split systems). This is what delivers the У1 outdoor rating with IP54 ingress protection.
• Documentation — every cabinet has its own factory passport and a QR code on the door: on site you can see what the cabinet is, its ratings and number, with no paper archive.
