Complete equipment set for an indoor transformer substation: 10 kV switchgear on KSO-E cubicles and a 0.4 kV switchboard of ShchO-90 panels
18 products for a two-transformer indoor substation from one factory: seven KSO-E cubicles with a busbar bridge, seven ShchO-90 panels, metering, an ATS and a lighting board. Odesa, a 2025 order.
The full "insides" of a two-transformer indoor substation from a single factory: seven 10 kV KSO-E cubicles with a busbar bridge, seven ShchO-90 panels for 0.4 kV, a metering cabinet, an auxiliary-supply ATS and a lighting board — 18 products, each with its own factory passport. Manufactured and tested at our own factory in Odesa; a 2025 order.
The task
The customer needed equipment for an indoor transformer substation with two transformers: 10 kV switchgear, a 0.4 kV switchboard, metering and auxiliary supplies. Typical requirements for urban-grid substations:
- two-section scheme — two incomers, two transformer cubicles, a spare cubicle for future extension;
- full completeness — from 10 kV cubicles to the lighting board, so that everything matches the design at the installation site without "topping up" from different suppliers.
The solution
We produced the set as a whole, to a single set of design documentation:
10 kV switchgear — 7 KSO-E series 393 cubicles with a busbar bridge between the rows:
- 2 incoming, 2 transformer (with fuses), 2 feeder cubicles and a spare one;
- each cubicle carries a 630 A switch-disconnector and surge arresters; transformer cubicles additionally have an earthing switch and fuses;
- phase-marked busbars, mimic diagrams and purpose labels on the fronts, inspection windows.
0.4 kV switchboard — 7 ShchO-90 panels: two 1600 A incoming panels with air circuit breakers (65 kA breaking capacity) and current transformers, a bus-section panel, and four 1250 A feeder panels with switch-disconnectors and fuses.
Around the switchboard — everything the substation needs to live: a metering cabinet, an automatic transfer switch (ATS) for auxiliary supplies, a lighting board and a power inlet-distribution box.
Each of the 18 products has its own factory passport listing the installed apparatus with serial numbers — on site, and years later, you can see exactly what was installed.
