Hybrid energy storage: battery, solar, diesel and EV charging

Overview
A hybrid cabinet differs from ordinary storage not in capacity but in how many sources it brings together in one place. Besides the battery, the same enclosure can hold a solar controller, transfer control for a diesel generator input, and EV charging points.
It suits sites where the supply is assembled from several sources and where some of the load cannot tolerate a dip: filling stations, car parks, charging-network operators, and remote sites with their own generation.
The key figure for such sites is transfer between grid and backup in under 10 ms — for point-of-sale equipment, servers and charging points that is the difference between a flicker and a reboot.

What our own work covers
We supply the equipment as an official dealer. Our own part:
- The switchgear. A hybrid cabinet brings several sources together and each has to be connected properly: the grid incomer, the generator connection, the charging-point circuits, protection and metering. That switchgear is designed and built by our plant in Odesa.
- Installation and commissioning — placing the unit, connecting the sources, verifying the transfer control.
- Servicing — scheduled maintenance, BMS checks, battery diagnostics: BESS servicing.
