General information
Outdoor dead-end type packaged transformer substations (KTPn), with a capacity up to 250 kVA at a voltage of 6 (10) kV, are designed for receiving, transforming and distributing three-phase AC electric power at a frequency of 50 Hz and a rated voltage of 6 (10)/0.4 kV.
KTPn are applied in the power supply systems of urban, industrial and agricultural facilities, as well as construction sites and other national-economy facilities in temperate-climate regions.
KTPn are supplied fully assembled in a housing made of galvanised steel sheet, with a built-in power transformer and high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) panels. On separate order, a metering cabinet and a street-lighting panel are installed in the KTPn.
The KTPn is a riveted frame structure made of galvanised steel sheets.
The substation is divided into three compartments:
- HV compartment (switchgear 6(10) kV);
- power transformer compartment;
- LV compartment (switchgear 0.4 kV).
Incoming/outgoing connection on the HV side — overhead or cable.
Outgoing connections on the LV side — cable.
KTPn can also be manufactured with the switching apparatus mounted on a frame in the RUNN (LV switchgear) compartment, which saves substation floor area.
The KTPn is mounted on a foundation.
Climatic design U1 per GOST 15150-69.
KTPn comply with DSTU 3399-96.

Description & purpose
KTPn is an outdoor dead-end package transformer substation rated up to 250 kVA at 6(10)/0.4 kV, intended for receiving, converting and distributing three-phase 50 Hz electric power in supply networks of urban, industrial and agricultural facilities and construction sites in temperate climate. U1 climatic version per GOST 15150-69, compliant with DSTU 3399-96.
The substation is delivered fully assembled: a riveted frame enclosure of galvanized steel sheet with three compartments — 6(10) kV switchgear, power transformer compartment and 0.4 kV switchgear. HV side entry is overhead or cable, LV outputs are cable. A metering cabinet and a street-lighting panel can be installed on request. Mounted on a foundation.
Manufactured by LK Energy Group (Odesa, in-house production since 2005). Built to your project: send us a questionnaire and we will agree on the configuration, lead time and price.
FAQ
What capacity are KTPn substations available in?
Dead-end KTPn substations are rated up to 250 kVA at 6(10)/0.4 kV. For higher capacities, see kiosk-type KTP or modular KTPMM.
What does a KTPn consist of?
It is a fully assembled galvanized-steel enclosure with three compartments: 6(10) kV switchgear, power transformer compartment and 0.4 kV switchgear. HV entry is overhead or cable, LV outputs are cable.
Can a KTPn be fitted with metering and street lighting?
Yes, a metering cabinet and a street-lighting panel are installed on request.
