
General information
Purpose of YaVU
Input-metering boxes YaVU (ЯВУ) are complete low-voltage distribution devices designed for input reception, commercial metering, and protection of outgoing lines in 0.4 kV (230/400 V) three-phase or single-phase AC networks with a frequency of 50 Hz and a solidly grounded neutral. YaVU units are installed at the power supply input of industrial, public, communal-residential, and housing facilities.
Structurally, the box is a front-access enclosure made of metal (powder-coated steel) or modified plastic (PC/ABS). Inside are located: an input circuit breaker, a space for an electricity meter (direct or transformer connection), distribution circuit breakers on the outgoing lines, PEN/N/PE terminals, and sealing lugs for the metering compartment.

LK Energy Group has been manufacturing switchgear equipment in Odesa since 2005. We have been producing the YaVU line since 2015; it has two main types: YaVU-1 (single-phase, 230 V) and YaVU-3 (three-phase, 400 V). Designs: for utility needs, private consumers, public and industrial facilities. Degree of protection — IP31 for indoor premises and IP54 for outdoor installation.
Typical electrical circuit of YaVU
The basic design of YaVU-3 with direct meter connection consists of:
- QF1
- input circuit breaker (three poles for YaVU-3, rating — project-specific based on calculated current);
- PI
- electronic active energy meter (1-phase or 3-phase, direct or transformer connection via CT);
- QF2…QFn
- circuit breakers on the outgoing lines (quantity and ratings — per technical specification);
- XT
- PEN/N/PE terminal set with a sealing lug on the metering compartment.
For transformer connection, the circuit additionally includes three current transformers (CT) with ratios of 100/5, 200/5, 400/5, 600/5, or 1000/5 — depending on the calculated current. A detailed schematic diagram for the specific design is included with the product's data sheet.

*For IP54, the rated current is reduced relative to the values for IP31 — due to limited heat dissipation through the sealed enclosure. The exact value is project-specific.

Electricity meters
The box is supplied without a meter. The model is determined by the technical conditions of your DSO (Oblenergo). All installed meters must be certified in Ukraine and included in the DSO's register.
Lead time and warranty
Typical manufacturing time — 5–7 business days for standard models, up to 14 days for custom designs*. Warranty period — 24 months from the date of commissioning*.

Description and purpose
An incoming metering box (IMB) is a complete low-voltage distribution device of voltage class 0.4 kV (230/400 V, 50 Hz) for accepting the supply from the distribution system operator (DSO), commercial metering and protection of outgoing feeders. It is intended for the incoming supply point at industrial, public, utility and residential facilities. IMBs are manufactured by LK Energy Group — a switchgear manufacturer from Odesa operating since 2005: every unit ships with a data sheet, certificate and test report. The rated current and design are selected per project based on the calculated current (direct connection up to 100 A, or via current transformers up to 1000 A). Typical example: IMB-3, incoming breaker + 3-phase meter + feeder breakers. Heating for the metering compartment is added on request — for outdoor installation in cold regions.
